Reading day

The sea rough today, and the two less sheltered beaches closed. We went to the market in the morning, buying some more bits of food, and wandered about town. We spent most of the day relaxing on our terrace, both with little inclination to do anything other than read.  I finished The Buried Giant, which I liked a great deal.  In the evening we cooked sausages and ate them with a mountain of salad, then played a game of scrabble all on the terrace overlooking the harbour. Lovely stuff. We're definitely beginning to relax now.
