Concerned of Seaford
Started the day being Mr and Mrs Concerned of Seaford.
Anton released back into the wild in the middle of the night. Oskar at home cooked for him when he got back. Signs in the blood that he may have had one or some small heart attacks. I offered to go around, but he has Oskar there. Very chipper sounding, he called me later from the bus, when he was on his way back to the hospital to get various drugs. Importantly, however, he has now signed off sick.
Meanwhile, Brian having a torrid time, and kept in the operating room during his knee replacement due to a slow heartbeat. I texted him and Yvonne. He is in loads of pain today -- rather like Anton was after this operation. Yvonne obviously worried too.
An Enzo day. The little boy being delightful. Took him to Morrisons for a shop, which he tolerates well sitting in the little baby seat of the trolley, and we did a bit of occasional zooming in the aisles to keep him happy.
Spoke to Mum and we worked out a good way to get to the dentist by bus, as part of a tooth broke off while she was having her breakfast flakes the other morning.
I squeezed in an hour at my desk, and an hour's snooze during the day.
Then Jonas and Claudia arrived, having flown from a holiday in Italy. They'd lost a shoulder bag en route, with some clothes on it and a phone charging lead.
A cheery evening I cooked a large pasta sauce, and we chatted and even played UNO. Lots of laughing, and great to see them. Great to see Lorraine drinking wine and having a laugh. Fascinating to hear a Finish perspective on politics too. Jonas is fascinated by history, and has good insight into his country's challenges, including lots of unemployment, and a trickier than usual relationship with Russia.
To bed early as L and I were quite tired.
