A quick toast to Innis

It was Innis's stag do today. I missed out on a cool stone carving session led by Graham. However, Lorraine drove me to the Old Albion in the evening where Innis was having drinks. All his stags brought him books, so I gave him one, and had written a kind of poem which I tucked into it, and which I think touched him.

Enjoyed getting to know Innis's brothers Finlay and Campbell, and chats with Tim and other pals of Innis. The Albion is a pub where you can bring your own food or have it delivered. Eve, Innis's lovely daughter, ordered some pizza, and also had arrived with loads of crips and peanuts. I thoroughly enjoyed myself for a couple of hours before losing energy. Luckily Lorraine was just around the corner at Rosie's flat, drove me home.

Home to watch Chelsea lose on Match of the Day to Manchester United. The new manager, unfairly dubbed 'LinkedIn Liam' may not last much longer on these results.

A snap of Enzo with his grandparents squinting in the sun.
