Downloaded The History of Ancient Egypt by Professor Bob Brier, a series of half hour lectures for undergraduates. Today was the prehistory of Egypt. Lorraine and I listened in the garden this afternoon, after a morning spent moving things around, as we are having our bedroom and en suite bathroom painted by Dawn, so we had to clear everything away and hoover behind the bed so that she would not think we lived like animals. Also hoovering the big bedroom at the front of the house and stowing various Betty things in containers under the bed. 

Lorraine and I had a couple of our cold beers we bought yesterday in the sun, and pottered about tending to our trug, and ate our Sunday roast in the back garden in the sun, and then had a couple of games of cards. All good fun.
