Adding horror

Had a new idea for a new short story this morning. Sat in the kitchen this morning and wrote it, and  by the end of the day I had a complete first draft. It is horror, and I am very pleased with it. I seem to be mining experiences I had in my early twenties for material. I spent the whole day working on it, apart from a trip to the gym. It is called What You Look For, and based on the layout of a house I shared on Tatchbrook Road in Leamington Spa, with added horror of course.

Below meanwhile, in Leeds, Jade was becoming a Doctor, here with Sam.
