A few snaps from Paxos

This written some time after the events. The days in Paxos were lovely. One day of rain. Another morning announced by a thunderclap and rain, but cleared up.

The best part of the break for me was seeing Lorraine happily relaxing.

A gecko made its way into our bedroom and then disappeared.

I became fascinated in my walks by looking at olive trees. After a while, you begin to see faces in them, and the shapes of animals. Also cyclamen. I began to write a poem about cyclamen and olive trees but it seemed to evaporate as I wrote it.

We had a couple of good times with Rahul and Leanne, and once we met up with them for lunch with Steve and Tony. Extremely nice people.

Here are some photos. Cyclamen were everywhere; olive trees that look like creatures; Lorraine and I about two seconds after the sun went in, typical olive groves with the nets to catch them all folded up, a view from our bedroom balcony, the sea beginning to change its temperament.
