Thinking about John

Heard this morning from Betty that John's dad, Peter, had died overnight. He had been ill for some time.  I had never met him but naturally we are feeling sad for John and his sister Jo. Also Beth too, as what affects John affects her.

Otherwise for me it was all about work, but I am still feeling the benefit of a week off, and had some energy. A walk at lunchtime, where for some reason I took a photo of a blocked up door.
